Ato Tadele Demise Tola, a father of 15 (4 boys and 11 girls) from West Arsi, Nensebo Woreda, Bulga learned traditional coffee farming from his father. “I was raised on a farm, so whatever I’ve learned as a young man came from my family,” said Tadesse. When Tadesse was older the agricultural bureau trained him on modern farming.  “I am very lucky to have been trained, and to receive continuous support from the bureau, and I make sure that whatever I know my community knows,” he said. supported with processing materials and training on coffee farm management, red cherry processing, and drying from the woreda agriculture office. Ato Tadele’s coffee became one of the top-scoring coffees in the Cup of Excellence Ethiopia competition, earning him the 10th place with 88.89 points. “I am very happy.  I feel I am being rewarded for my efforts,” he said reacting to the news that he is one of the winners of Cup of Excellence Ethiopia.
