Description

Kemer Ibrahim Usman (36), is an agribusiness graduate coffee producer in West Arsi, Nensebo woreda, Chebi kebele. He secured the ninth place in this year’s Cup of Excellence Ethiopia competition with a score of 89 for his Tipica (74112) variety.

Kemer’s farm was established in 2009 on 3 hectares of land and produces 7,000 kilograms of dry coffee annually, which he supplies to the local market. “The international coffee market was too complicated for me to enter, so I sold locally,” said Kemer. “But thanks to this opportunity my coffee will be known internationally, and I am excited about getting a better market.”
