The El Plan farm is located at Las Flores, deparment of Santa Barbara, his owner the producer Edwin Ever Sabilon, since his young age of 10 belongs to the world of coffee. Currently he cultivates the Parainema variety.
Currently there are 1 person who collaborate permanently in the farm and during the harvest season about 12 people.
They take care of natural resources, planting trees such as banana and guamo, which provides shade to the coffee plantation by 70%, adiccionally they perfom good practices of coffee tissue handling and integrated management of pest and diseases, among others.
The factor that makes Finca las Flores coffee different is the coffee quality; since they take care of the harvest, carrying out only the ripe fruit and doing a natural coffee process.
The cup of excellence program is a blessing, since it helps us improve the farm and collaterally we create more jobs and support more people in our community.
