23 - La Picona - Nicaragua 2024

In 2005 we won first place, but we were part of a cooperative and in that year 13 partners won important places and so on and so forth, I think I have not lost in all the years we have participated and in 2014 we took second place and in 2018 we were in fourth place and so we have been winning with Maracaturra coffees. We have been 30 years in the coffee industry, we have followed the legacy of my husband, may he rest in peace, he won many awards in cup of excellence and he has not left that legacy of continuing with our coffee specializing it every day to be successful.
The effort of the family, the effort of our workers to be attentive, from the farm, from the production of the soil, to the wet mill and dry mill that is where our coffee is prepared to send the samples to the mills that is where the samples for the cup of excellence come from, but it is a very arduous job.
I share this award with my family, with my church and we share this with our workers that are there from the harvest and we as a family help them, we are always with them supporting them.
