Finca El Burío qualified for the second consecutive year in the Cup of Excellence auction. We are proud to be part of this important event representing Costa Rican coffee.
Finca El Burío is located in San Francisco de León Cortés, it was acquired by our family in 2014, it is located at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level and is cultivated under shade. Many factors are taken into account, such as the care that we give it all year round, giving it adequate nutrition, management in harmony with the environment, this added to the ideal climate, nutrition and harvest conditions at the optimal point of ripeness for the crop.
After experimenting with different varieties, this variety was the one that provided the best results on this farm. Variety Kenya in honey process, collected in the month of February during the dry season, when the sun's rays cover the hills and the winds blow over our farm, makes the cherries develop qualities that make us feel proud of the job we do every day with a lot of passion.
