Description
José Elmer is the third generation in coffee production. His avocado farm is located in the department of Cajamarca, province and district of Jaén, in the El Diamante hamlet, his farm is at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level, it is named after the avocado because when I acquired this property it had quite a few avocado plantations. Currently there is only one avocado plant, I also initially installed the Catimor variety, but when I saw that the chicken eye began to attack I began to change the variety. That's when I installed the Catuai variety and three years ago I also installed the geisha and caturra variety. Before beginning the harvest, the collectors are instructed to collect only mature grain, then these harvested cherry trees go through a disinfection process and after 14 hours they are dried under shade for 30 days, after this time they are stored. in grainpro bags, to ensure that the final attributes of the coffee are accentuated and expressive when sensorially evaluated. Altitude 1700 m.a.s.l. Catuai, Caturra and Geisha varieties have loamy soil types.
