25 - Peña De Leon - Perù 2024

The “Peña de León” farm is in the Vista Hermosa settlement, in the district of San José del Alto. It is named after a rock formation in the shape of a “león” (lion in English), which can be seen in front of the farm. In 2020, I received a visit from an agricultural technician named Santos García, who introduced me to the Geisha variety. His recommendation piqued my interest, and together with my family, we decided to plant it due to its renowned high quality in the coffee world. With the technician’s help, we carried out the nursery, layout, and planting of the coffee before he tragically passed away from COVID.
