I had started planting coffee since 2010 in one fourth of hectares of land with seeds I got from my neighbor’s farm. The varieties I am taking are Andongsari and Sigeralhutang and I focused on organic coffee farms and avoided using chemical pesticide and fertilizer.
In 2013 my first harvest fortunately produced a satisfactory result and I proceeded to expand my coffee farm until it reached the 1 hectare it is now.
I do the fullwash processing myself on a small scale. For a bigger scale I am still under guidance of ALKO cooperative.
After getting information regarding COE I am filled with enthusiasm and started harvesting coffee with perfect red picks, fully washed and resulting in the best green beans I can produce for COE.
