29 - Los Romeros - Honduras 2024

This is my first time participating in COE. I used to sell to Rony Gamez but never tried to join the COE competition. For me, the main motivation for joining is the opportunity it offers to find a better price point in the international market. I am a second-generation producer; I accompanied my father in the coffee process, but it was only six years ago that I began striving to achieve Specialty coffee status.

For me, COE Honduras 2024 was a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. The moment when you know that you've succeeded is truly fulfilling. I encourage and promote the producers of my community to participate. If I can do it, all of them can. I plan to participate again next year and raise awareness in my town of "Botija" in Comayagua so that more people can participate in COE.
