The farm has this name because there is a large stone on it, that is why it was decided to name it this way.
The farm was cultivated in 2004 by the initiative of José María Lemus, my father. It began cultivating the pacamara and pacas varieties and after 2 years the production began and with time we began to cultivate 2 more varieties of coffee which are the bourbon and up to approximately 8 years ago the Gesha, having now 4 varieties of coffee.
In the beginning the process of pulping and washing the coffee was done by hand, but thanks to the good production and acceptance of the product by the consumers, our family has been able to improve and facilitate the process through the use of its own machinery.
The farm is located in La Montañita, Cantón el Túnel la palma Chalatenango.
