Description
The Nueva Alianza farm was born in 2000, with 5 hectares and currently we have 30 hectares, 8 hectares of coffee of different varieties, we work as a family with the patriarch of the house, Don Timoteo Aguilar Ramos and his wife Doña Belarmina Masias Zavala, we have different varieties, the climate of the farm is semi-dry and the soils have a sandy loam texture, we have an altitude of 1800 to 1950 meters above sea level. Since 2010 we started with special varieties such as the typica variety, bourbon and in 2015 we started with the geisha variety, pacamara.
In 2020 we started with a yellow geisha variety, to differentiate it from the other geishas called burguey. We have 1 hectare of this variety and we are currently expanding it. This variety is tolerant to different coffee pests, one of them is rust, and it adapts to climate changes. The productivity of this plant is high and the flavor of the cherry tree is very exotic. We use a simple washing process to preserve the organoleptic and genetic profiles of the plant, drying was
in shade (tents).
