Burtukan Ethiopia 2022

Burtukan, a 25-year-old coffee farmer, studied Sociology at Jimma University and graduated three years ago. She got into coffee farming right after graduation. She owns 3.518Ha of land in Didahara Burka Kebele, Uraga Woreda, Guji Zone, Oromia region. Burtkuan grows 74110 coffee variety processed into dry-natural coffee. “I heard Cup of Excellence is a good opportunity, and I just wanted to give it a shot,” she said.  This is her second time participating in COE, and she is very excited that her coffee made it to the top 40 for the first time.
