The variety of my coffee is SL28. When we harvest, in my farm, we only pick and harvest optimum coffee ripeness. Once the coffee arrives to the wet mill, beans are flushed with water we do a cleaning process and we take to the pulping machine and we continue to correctly manage the coffee in order to safeguard the quality that is received from the farm. I feel that one of the factors that differentiates my coffee is that we are in a strategic position due to the microclimates of my farm located between two mountains. We also have plenty of fruit trees and I am next to a national park that has a lot of bees pollinizing, which makes my coffee taste different. Thanks to God, this is my 10th participation in Cup of Excellence and thanks to IHCAFE´s support that has been alongside the process. My participation in Cup of Excellence 2022 has been exciting. My expectation , I hope to make a good yield and thinking in our next crop because the flowering has already begun to continue with hard work to keep the quality.
