Geno, 60, is a father of 15 children. He grows 74110 variety and processes Natural Coffee on 10.955Ha of land in Wate Gogoge Kebele, Harowolabu woreda in Guji Zone of the Oromia Region. “I decided to enter COE because I want to work on coffee quality and sell my coffee directly to buyers without the middlemen,” says Geno. He says he is celebrating that his coffee is one of the top 40 in COE 2022. This is his second time competing in COE. He won 36th place in 2021. Geno has been in the coffee industry for 11 years.
