Cesar began in coffee a couple of years ago encouraged by his brother who owns 14 years ago a coffee exporter and works closely with producers in Huila and Cauca. he is Civil and Electronic Engineer who got involved in a project related to improving wash stations and drying systems for the different farms they work with based on their location and weather conditions.

Before getting his first plot of land to grow coffee he had a trip to Daterra farm in Brazil where he learned different practices to track and create traceability for every process at the farm. So this is how he decided to start his experimental coffee plantation where he grows Pink Bourbon and puts into practice different projects he and his brother want to implement with the producers.

The main focus during the coffee he submitted to the contest was controlling the temperature of the fermentation, selection of the cherries and washing phase before drying.
