Description
Pakakayo Family, members of the Pwo Karen ethnic group, we are deeply committed to preserving the natural wealth and cultural heritage passed down by our ancestors—especially the forests. Guided by their legacy, we live with a strong sense of responsibility and hope, striving to safeguard this abundance for future generations, just as our forebears did.
In alignment with our values, we have chosen to pursue agriculture in a way that actively supports environmental conservation. Among various possibilities, we have selected coffee cultivation as our primary livelihood. We believe that coffee offers a sustainable path to improving our quality of life—anchored in the principle that the quality of the coffee we produce directly reflects the quality of life we create for our community.
