I am Sukri from Tolajuk Village in Sulawesi, Indonesia. I have lived my whole life in Tolajuk where my father and all my family were coffee farmers before me. We grow rice to feed our families, and we grow coffee as our primary income. I have three children who are now old enough to learn coffee farming, and the oldest is at university studying agronomy. Before working with Sisola Coffee we processed the coffee ourselves and sold it very cheap, and it would just be mixed with coffee from other regions. Now, working with Sisola Coffee we make more money from our coffee and our coffee is recognized as special and keeps our village name on it even when sold in cafes in other countries.
