Description
Hacienda San Isidro Labrador (HSIL) is a family project and the result of a lifelong legacy.
Our story begins in 1945 with the birth of our father and founder, Johel Monge Naranjo. Rooted in a coffee-growing family, his life was shaped by agriculture, professional achievement, and deep personal growth. These experiences became the foundation of what we are today.
Located in the highlands of Santa María de Dota, in the Tarrazú region, our farm benefits from high altitudes, sharp temperature contrasts, and meticulous care—from the soil to the tiniest new leaf. These elements create one of the finest terroirs in Costa Rica, uniquely suited for cultivating our beloved Geisha coffees.
These exceptional conditions, combined with our strong commitment to excellence, result in Geisha coffees of extraordinary clarity, elegance, and complexity—flavor profiles we fall in love with time and time again. It is our joy and privilege to grow, process, and share these remarkable beans with you and the world.
