2 - Laurel #3 - Honduras 2025 (Parainema Variety)

My name is Óscar Ramírez Chávez, coffee producer at Finca El Laurel #3, located in Las Delicias, Danlí, El Paraíso, Honduras.
I am the fourth generation of producers in my family. From an early age, my dad was the one who taught me to sow, grow and, above all, to love coffee. For many years we sold our coffee in a conventional way, facing unstable prices and, mostly, low. Going ahead in those conditions was difficult.
In 2015, with only 19 years, I decided to train more and began to receive training to improve coffee quality. It was in 2016 when I helped my dad prepare our first special coffee microlote. Since then, my commitment has been constant: I have worked on the improvement of the farm, to optimize the wet beneficiary process and to ensure that an excellent quality always maintain.
In 2022, I managed to graduate as a 5 -star tastor, and that effort has given very good fruits. Today, my farm produces a greater amount of specialty coffee and participating in a cup of excellence is a great opportunity to demonstrate the result of all this work.
In the future, I dream of having my own cation laboratory here on the farm, where buyers can come, try coffee and live the experience right in the place where everything starts.
