Description
#3 — Río Blanco
Alejandra Cordero Solano | Mill: Café Solís & Cordero
Café Solís & Cordero was founded in 2018 by the Solís Cordero family with the goal of producing honest, sustainable, family-made coffees that reflect the extraordinary potential of the Los Santos region. Finca Río Blanco, located in Copey de Dota at 1,950 meters above sea level, provides the exceptional terroir that makes this possible — with conditions that allow the Geisha variety to express remarkable complexity and depth.
This Honey lot showcases a different dimension of the same farm that also qualified in the Washed category — a testament to the versatility and consistency of both the terroir and the family's processing expertise. Every member of the Solís Cordero family is involved in the operation, from cultivation and crop management to wet milling and marketing. Their sustainable approach ensures full traceability and a genuine connection between the land, the people, and the cup.
