Rio Dorado is an annex of Finca El Morito located in Mataquescuintla, Jalapa. The farm extends across high elevations characterized by cool temperatures, native pine and oak forests.

Coffee is cultivated under permanent shade, preserving the natural ecosystem while promoting slow cherry maturation. Rio Dorado is committed to responsible agricultural practices, including soil and water conservation, manual weed control, and the protection of the region’s native flora and fauna.
