Description

Sítio Vargem Grande is not just a point on the map; it is the beating heart of generations devoted to coffee. Nestled among mountains with perfect climate and generous soil, our farm carries in its name the promise of abundance and the memory of a time when the best lands meant a prosperous future. For years, the cherries harvested here fueled everyday coffee — an honest, strong, and respectable bean.

But the story of Vargem Grande has entered a new chapter. Driven by the desire to honor the land and the wisdom of our ancestors, we decided to go beyond good — in search of the exceptional. This was not merely a change in process, but a revolution of sensitivity.
We began to treat each coffee tree as an individual, no longer just part of a field. Our experienced hands learned to recognize the cherry at the precise peak of its ripeness — a true ruby-red treasure. The drying patio, once just a place for sun-drying, became an open-air laboratory where we carefully guide each bean’s journey through sun and shade, uncovering flavor notes that were once hidden.

When you taste the specialty coffee from Sítio Vargem Grande, you’re not just drinking coffee — you’re savoring the story of a family, the freshness of our mountains, and the passion that transformed a simple bean into an unforgettable experience.
