Description
Miscabamba Farm is located in the district of Santa Teresa, in the province of La Convención, Cusco region. It’s on the slopes of the Salkantay snow-covered mountain, surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna. The area features remarkable microclimatic diversity, which positively influences the quality of its coffee, mainly the Geisha variety, which has adapted successfully to the farm’s conditions.
This coffee is characterized by its consistency, floral notes, creamy body, and a sweet, lingering finish. The farm is situated at an altitude of 3,280 m a.s.l.
The harvest began in July, when the first ripe cherries appeared and were sent as samples for the Cup of Excellence preselection. The largest harvest volumes took place between August and September, collecting only deep red cherries. However, this year production was affected by abrupt climate changes and frequent rainfall, which made harvesting tasks more challenging.
