Description
The farm La Miel is located in the district of Chirinos, San Ignacio – Cajamarca, at 1,896 masl. It was founded in 2020 as the dream of a young coffee-growing couple determined to build their future around coffee and produce beans that reflect the richness of their land.
We started with small plots of Caturra and Bourbon, inspired by the example of our coffee-growing families. The first years were filled with effort and learning: preparing the land, selecting each seed, and recognizing the exact stage of cherry ripeness. As time passed, we improved our practices, focusing on quality and selective harvesting.
Today we mainly grow Geisha, Caturra and Bourbon, varieties that we care for with dedication and artisanal processes. The name La Miel symbolizes the sweetness and natural essence that we want to transmit in every cup. Participating in the Cup of Excellence 2025 represents for us the opportunity to showcase the fruit of our hard work, our family’s passion and the richness of Cajamarca’s coffee.
