Description

In the heart of Veracruz's central highlands, Finca CORAHE—short for Córdova (CO) Arroyo (AR) Hermanos (HE) —stands as a testament to four generations of coffee cultivation. Rooted in the legacy of our Italian great-great-grandparents who settled here in the 19th century, our family has nurtured coffee plants at elevations ranging from 900 to 1,400 meters above sea level. This commitment to quality and tradition has been the cornerstone of our journey.

Recognizing the environmental challenges posed by traditional washed processing methods, we pioneered the "Natural Honey" technique. This method, involving anaerobic fermentation of whole cherries for up to 450 hours followed by controlled dehydration in stainless steel dryers, not only conserves water but also enhances the coffee's flavor profile. The result is a cup with notes of yellow fruits, banana, guava, red apple, cocoa, caramel, orange, and pineapple, reflecting the unique terroir of our region.

Our commitment extends beyond the environment. We actively engage women from our local community in various stages of coffee production, from the initial selection of ripe cherries to the meticulous hand-sorting of green beans. This not only ensures the highest quality but also empowers these women, providing them with meaningful employment opportunities.

Finca CORAHE's dedication to excellence has been recognized in prestigious competitions. In 2023, our coffees achieved notable rankings in the Cup of Excellence Mexico and the YARA Champion Program Coffee, reflecting our relentless pursuit of quality and innovation.
As stewards of our land and heritage, we continue to blend traditional practices with sustainable innovations, ensuring that each cup of our coffee tells a story of passion, resilience, and excellence.
