Description
Sítio da Serra, located in the municipality of Carmo de Minas, belongs to the Sítio da Torre family group. It is situated in the “Circuito das Águas” region of southern Minas Gerais, internationally recognized for the exceptional quality of its mineral springs, its unique climate, and the stunning beauty of its mountainous landscape. The coffee plantations, located at altitudes between 1,200 and 1,300 meters, benefit from ideal conditions for the production of specialty coffees.
Production Method:
The coffee is handpicked selectively, then washed, depulped, and spread in thin layers on drying patios, being turned several times a day until reaching 11.5% moisture content. Each lot is carefully identified and traceable, and stored in resting silos for approximately 30 days before being hulled and sent to Cocarive for storage.
